Welcome to CFA Society Doha
We advance Qatar’s investment community by promoting the highest standards of professional excellence and integrity, contributing to the development of local capital markets, supporting the continued education of investment professionals in Qatar, and promoting the CFA Program. Our members work as portfolio managers, investment advisors, bankers, analysts, and educators, and nearly all of them hold the CFA charter.
CFA Society Doha is one of nearly 160 local member societies of CFA Institute, the global association of investment professionals. The society was founded in 2014 and has about 180 members.

Renewal window: June each year. When you keep CFA Society Doha on your CFA Institute membership, you keep:

Members elect six directors to the board
Asmma Al Maadid, Abdulla Al-Sulaiti, Shoaib Farooq, Ahmed Al-Janash, Fernando Thomas, and Mohammad Malek Al Jamal were elected in the 2026 board election. Thank you to all candidates and to every member who voted.

Qatar University wins the MENA round of the CFA Institute Research Challenge
After winning the Qatar local final in February, the Qatar University team won the MENA sub-regional round and advanced to the EMEA regional semifinals.
